PARIS DESIGN RESOURCES
The following is a list of some of the best places to see graphic design in the city, intended as a reference for students and designers, who are visiting Paris.
Centre Pompidou
Located in the centre of the city, Centre Pompidou is the largest modern art museum of Paris, and indeed of Europe. The permanent collection of painting and sculpture, video etc, is free to see. There are regularly smaller exhibitions which often lap into graphic and decorative design. The place also has one of the best selections of graphics books available in the city.

Decorative Arts Museum
This museum often features and exhibits information design, as well as a permanent collection of furniture, fashion and textiles, advertising, packaging and posters. Recommended.

Fondation Cartier
Contemporary and cultural exhibitions of very high quality. Recently featured was the comic art of Moebius, and 'Né dans Le Rue', a show chronicling the roots of New York graffiti.

Musee de Quai Branly
A large museum featuring a vast collection of ancient African, Asian and South American art. A new addition to Paris, right next to the Eiffel Tower.

Lazy Dog
This small Parisian boutique has many contemporary art and graphic design books, as well posters, fanzines, cult toys etc.
